Older Sub-Zero built-ins in Encino
Ranch houses and gated remodels either side of Ventura Boulevard, most with a full-size built-in and a wine unit, all of it working through summers the manufacturer would call the outside of its comfortable range. This is where the route starts and where its oldest machines are.
What ages a built-in here
Post-war ranch stock, and the kitchens in it have usually been round twice: once when the built-in first went in and once when the room was opened up.
